Mercedes-Benz Vans - A pioneering history of safety firsts

We’ve always led the field when it comes to van safety. We were the first manufacturer to feature driver airbags in vans as standard in 2000. Crosswind Assist followed in 2013, and recently we were the first manufacturer in the world to equip all new vans with Rescue Assist QR codes, giving vital information to emergency services in case of a collision. We never stand still - Mercedes-Benz vans are comprehensively equipped with passive, active, fatigue and load safety features.

Mercedes-Benz Vans and safety go hand-in-hand

Safety is at the forefront of everything we do at Mercedes-Benz Vans. Our parent company, Daimler AG, invests £4.63 billion in research and development every year. As well as ensuring our vans are equipped with the latest technology, the focus of this R&D is to make sure Mercedes-Benz remains the recognised industry leader in van safety.

The latest technology keeps emissions down

We take our responsibility towards the environment seriously, and as a result, you can be confident that when you buy one of our vans, it comes with the very latest CO2-reducing technology.
